Who You Are
The Action Officer to the Vice President of Global Supply Chain (GSC)/Operations Deputy. The Action Officer will provide direct support to and day-to-day interface with the Vice President. We are looking for a candidate that possesses a unique blend of skills to excel in an executive environment. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to deliver results, exhibit exceptional organizational skills, think proactively, and produce superior work products under short deadlines with high visibility.
What You Will Be Doing
• Manage the business tempo of Aeronautics GSC/Ops Deputy, including managing internal, external and program specific tempo items
• Support the development of GSC strategy and its integration into Aero and Lockheed Martin strategy
• Participates in executive level planning and execution of GSC tactical and strategic initiatives
• Coordinate engagement and communication activities aimed at leadership, employees and overall organizational alignment
• Plan, execute and manage initiatives aimed at impacting people, processes and the business
• Advises and collaborates with key stakeholders on GSC requests and deliverables
• Interface with external suppliers or customers both domestically and internationally
• Identify areas and activities that would benefit from integration and facilitate that integration
• Development of executive-level briefings and whitepapers
• In coordination with communications, develop messaging and deploy tactics for organizational alignment and employee engagement
• Meeting facilitation including recording meeting minutes and tracking action items, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up/closure
• Willing to travel as needed (up to 25%)
• Other duties and special projects as required

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university
• Experience working in one or more Operations disciplines (Global Supply Chain (GSC), Production Operations and Quality and Mission Success (Q&MS), etc.)
• Project Management experience
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, operations, technical, or business management related field
• Experience engaging with executive and senior level leaders; while building effective relationships and balancing the interests of multiple stakeholders
• Experience collaborating and communicating cross-functionally, building consensus and shaping/influencing opinion
• Exceptional business acumen & analytical skills
• Experience making business based decisions with minimal direction
• Experience prioritizing competing objectives in a time-constrained environment
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
• Aspiration to learn & advance a career in Global Supply Chain leadership

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
