As a Security Officer - Unarmed Government Cleared in Jupiter, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification protocols, and other security-related policies at the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, screen visitors and deliveries, and document authorized access activity to help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, lobbies, restricted areas, and the exterior perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Prepare accurate logs, reports, and pass-down information related to access activity, incidents, and unusual conditions observed during the shift.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of military,corrections or law enforcement experience.
- Must posssess a guard card.
- Must have a goverment secret clearance.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
