Job Description

Red Canyon Technologies is seeking a Project Manager for a remote position supporting the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) High Speed Systems Test (HSST) program and the Centralized Test & Evaluation Investment Program (CTEIP) Program Management Office at Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC), Arnold AFB, TN.

The role has primary responsibility for the technical success of T&E technology development and test projects for the SkyRange program (UAS-based range utilizing RQ-4 Global Hawk and MQ-9 Reaper systems to gather flight test data for hypersonic missile flight tests and other TRMC needs). The Project Manager will also collaborate with the management team on contracting, scheduling, and financial management aspects of project management.

Responsibilities:

Specifically, the successful Project Manager candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the planning, integration, and execution of complex test and evaluation activities supporting advanced UAS and sensor technology programs
  • Coordinating cross-functional efforts supporting the development of new ground test, flight test, instrumentation, data collection, and analysis capabilities
  • Overseeing program execution across dynamic flight test and evaluation activities, ensuring successful planning, execution, analysis, and reporting
  • Facilitating technical reviews and engineering assessments to support design validation, risk mitigation, and resolution of programmatic and technical challenges
  • Providing leadership and coordination across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) supporting the development and transition of emerging UAS sensor technologies
  • Managing fielding, installation, operational test, and demonstration activities in support of program objectives
  • Serving as the primary interface between internal stakeholders, government customers, industry partners, and test organizations to align requirements, priorities, and execution plans
  • Directing the development and coordination of test plans, execution strategies, and performance objectives to ensure mission success
  • Monitoring program performance, evaluating test outcomes, and ensuring timely delivery of validated results and actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Identifying, tracking, and driving resolution of technical, operational, schedule, and execution risks impacting program objectives
  • Managing program cost, schedule, resources, and performance metrics while supporting preparation of monthly status reports and executive-level briefings
  • Providing proactive communication to leadership regarding program status, emerging risks, and critical decision points
  • Representing the organization in Government, industry, and academic working groups focused on emerging technologies, test and evaluation methodologies, and areas of strategic interest


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of direct experience in program management, planning, conducting, and/or analyzing test programs
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or an appropriate related discipline
  • Current Secret security clearance or eligibility for Secret clearance


Other Work-Related Qualifications:

  • Experience in the development or use of mechanical system drawings, P&IDs, CM tools, maintenance training, and interface control documents is highly desired
  • Experience supporting the generation of contract documents such as cost estimations and Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Unwavering attention to detail, exemplary work ethic, and grace under pressure
  • Ability to build positive relationships with coworkers, customers, and executing organizations
  • Mastery of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Expertise with AutoCAD, MATLAB, Python, and computational analysis tools is highly desired
  • Excellence in oral communication, technical writing, and presentation preparation
