About the Role:

As a Power Platform Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. Your role will focus on transforming complex business requirements into scalable and efficient applications that enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, IT professionals, and stakeholders, to ensure solutions align with organizational goals and compliance standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing existing Power Platform solutions to adapt to evolving business needs. Ultimately, your contributions will drive digital transformation initiatives and empower users across the organization to leverage low-code/no-code tools effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform components such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, integration, and API usage within the Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dataverse and Common Data Service (CDS).
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-400).
  • Experience with Azure services and integration with Power Platform solutions.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript for extending Power Apps functionality.
  • Background in professional, scientific, or technical services industry.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop custom applications and workflows using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate to automate business processes.
  • Create interactive and insightful reports and dashboards with Power BI to support data analysis and visualization needs.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing Power Platform solutions to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in security, governance, and compliance within all Power Platform developments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to end-users and team members on Power Platform capabilities and usage.
  • Stay current with the latest Power Platform features, updates, and industry trends to continuously improve solution delivery.

The required skills enable you to design and build robust, scalable applications and workflows that meet complex business needs using Power Platform tools. Your expertise in data modeling and integration ensures seamless connectivity between various data sources and services, enhancing solution effectiveness. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver user-centric solutions. Preferred skills such as scripting and Azure integration allow you to extend platform capabilities and create more sophisticated applications.
