INFORMATION ASSURANCE ANALYST (TS/SCI REQUIRED)
LOCATION: Suffolk, VA (100% Onsite)
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Active TS/SCI Clearance Required
SALARY- $80,000.00
POSITION OVERVIEW
SDA Solutions is seeking an Information Assurance Analyst to support a Navy Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization (A&A) program in Suffolk, Virginia. The selected candidate will support cybersecurity compliance, Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, vulnerability assessments, security authorization packages, and information assurance initiatives for mission-critical Navy systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting cybersecurity and information assurance efforts within a Department of Defense environment and possess a strong understanding of RMF processes, cybersecurity compliance requirements, and security control implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the development, review, validation, and maintenance of RMF authorization packages.
Perform vulnerability and risk assessments on information systems and applications.
Analyze information assurance and cybersecurity-related technical issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
Support implementation and validation of security controls to meet DoD and Navy cybersecurity requirements.
Conduct research and analysis related to network security, risk management, cybersecurity policies, and compliance requirements.
Assist with Package Submitting Office (PSO) reviews and validation of RMF packages.
Support management and maintenance of cybersecurity documentation within eMASS.
Assist with cybersecurity assessments, investigations, audits, and compliance reviews.
Collaborate with Navy stakeholders, Security Control Assessors (SCAs), Fleet Forces Command, Navy Authorization Office (NAO), and other cybersecurity organizations.
Apply cybersecurity best practices and standardized processes across accreditation and authorization efforts.
Assist in developing efficient and repeatable RMF processes for Navy information systems.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Active TS/SCI Clearance.
Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum one (1) year of experience performing Navy Information Assurance (IA) or cybersecurity functions.
Experience supporting cybersecurity compliance, RMF activities, or Assessment & Authorization (A&A) efforts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work onsite in Suffolk, Virginia.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Candidates must possess at least one of the following certifications:
Security+ CE
CAP
ENSA
CISA
CASP+
GSLC
CISSP
CISM
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with eMASS.
Experience developing, reviewing, or maintaining RMF packages.
Familiarity with NIST RMF and DoD cybersecurity frameworks.
Experience supporting Department of the Navy cybersecurity programs.
Experience supporting security authorization and accreditation activities.
