Job Description
GovCIO is currently hiring a Project Manager/Agile Coach to direct and deliver a wide range of projects supporting the Air Force SCI network. This position will be located in San Antonio TX and will be an on-site position.
Responsibilities
Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects. Reviews, manages and controls status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with team members and line managers. L ooking for an experienced Project Manager who will be able to help transition and combine existing work practices to move toward the Kanban methodology.

High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)

- Manages the direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.
- Defines requirements and plans project lifecycle deployment.
- Schedules tasks and coordinates with various team members to accomplish the results.
- Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking, analysis and reporting.
- Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to the project.
- Manage and provide oversight on assigned Enterprise, IT projects.
- Ensure adequate resources are assigned and aligned with service delivery and FOC criteria.
- Develop comprehensive project plan for all requirements/projects to include planning, quality control, direction, coordination, deliverables submissions and reviews.
- Provide weekly status updates to the contract, flight, and team lead.
- Create, maintain and dispose of task-related records and supporting documentation.
- Schedule all meetings that are pertinent to project planning and development
- Understand agile project management methodologies and traditional project management functions.
- Develops project scope, backlog, and work schedules according to project requirements.
Qualifications
High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
- Clearance Required: TS/SCI
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Must have a m inimum 5-6 years of experience managing IT projects
- Excellent written/verbal communications skills
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in both short & long-term IT systems deployment & systems lifecycles
- Ability to oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- ITIL 4 certification
- Service Now SPM module experience
