About This Role
We're seeking an early-career IT Project Manager to help plan, coordinate, and deliver cybersecurity and AI-focused technical projects for an Intelligence Community client in Chantilly, VA. This is a growth-oriented role ideal for someone with a technical foundation who is building their project management career. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, cyber analysts, and senior program leadership to track schedules, manage deliverables, and keep mission-critical work moving — while developing your understanding of cyber operations and applied AI/ML in a federal environment.
Compensation
$140,000 - $165,000 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities
Support planning, scheduling, and execution of cybersecurity and AI/ML technical projects
Track project milestones, tasks, risks, and deliverables, and report status to senior leadership
Coordinate across engineering, cyber, and analytics teams to keep work on schedule
Maintain project documentation, including schedules, meeting notes, and action items
Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Help identify and escalate project risks and dependencies
Support requirements gathering and translate stakeholder needs into trackable tasks
Develop your understanding of cyber operations and applied AI in a mission context
Requirements
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2-4 years of experience in an IT, project coordination, or technical delivery role
Exposure to or foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts (threat detection, vulnerability management, security compliance)
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and how they are applied to mission or analytics problems
Experience tracking project schedules, tasks, and deliverables
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Project management certification or coursework (CAPM, PMP in progress, or Agile/Scrum certification)
Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project)
Security+ or other entry-level cybersecurity certification
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS) and modern software development practices
Previous experience supporting federal government or Intelligence Community clients
Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
