Job Description
LightGrid is hiring a Strategy Analyst to work at Fort Meade, MD. Active SECRET Clearance is required.
This position will provide both Project Management and Strategic Planning service support within the DISA Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Transport Directorate (IE). The position will support technology refresh, enhancement and modernization strategic planning sessions with the Government and stakeholders across DISA and DoD. The support includes:
• Strategic planning, Process improvement, & Recommendations for policy improvement, and guidance for all governance activities.
• Reviewing, updating & developing draft architecture diagrams, call flows, physical connectivity diagrams, and other information to support the development of future capabilities in conjunction with the IE5 Engineering Division.
o The result of these efforts may produce the need for the personnel member to develop Courses of Action (COA), and Business Case Analysis (BCA) documentation.
• Developing technical white papers, briefings, DISA Advisory Messages (DAM), Congressional Briefs, and other analyses documentation and presentations to portray and communicate strategic engineering and technical matters to Senior Leaders, stakeholders, and customers.
• Supporting IPTs, and other ad hoc forums for the communication of the program/project objectives.
o Develop & coordinate reports, action items, and briefing charts.
• Conducting Requirements Management
o Collect and develop requirements for current and future emerging technology needs
o Developing Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM) to identify the source and authorizations of received requirements to support attaining approval and ratification
• Performing Risk Analysis & Risk Management
o Develop processes and procedures utilized for identifying, elevating, vetting, ranking, and mitigating risks.
o Complete/Communicate risk mitigation and documentation to resolve identified risk when applicable.
• Utilizing MS Project to develop program schedules to include a work break down structure (WBS) for program and projects supported.
• Analyzing Project to identify any critical path items (lead/lag), mission impact, and required due dates as part of schedules, WBS documentation and briefings.
Masters Degree is required.
PMP Certification is required.
• Telecommunications Background
o Must be able to review, analyze and contribute to architecture diagrams, call flows, physical connectivity diagrams, and other information to support the engineering team.
• Familiarity with: Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System process, DoD Acquisition principles, Information Technology Infrastructure Library, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Models, SDLC Phases, and DoD Architecture Framework.
• Experience building a project schedule within MS Project
• Familiarity with DISA IE strongly preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to collaborate test plans and reports with Government and equipment vendors.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft office suite to include SharePoint, Word, and Excel
