Summary:
• Support engineering development projects as a Systems Test Engineer.
• Design, develop, and execute hardware, software, and system tests.
• Responsibilities include test planning, test case development, test execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Manage full life cycle development, integration and test, requirements analysis, and architecture design.
• Utilize tools such as DOORS, JIRA, and Microsoft Project.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 2+ years
• Total Compensation: $188k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Responsible for the design, development, and execution of tests for products (hardware, software, systems) to ensure quality, functionality, and reliability.
• Create detailed test plans, strategies, and procedures based on requirements.
• Develop specific test cases and scripts for various tests (functional, performance, security, etc.).
• Execute tests, monitor development and production processes, and manage controlled testing environments.
• Identify, document, report, and track software/hardware and product defects.
• Collaborate with development teams, process engineers, and management to provide insights and suggest improvements.
• Analyze test results, document findings, and prepare/present test engineering work products to internal and external customers.
• Interact daily with technical leads, program managers, planners, technicians, and other engineers.
• Drive tasks to completion independently while collaborating with colleagues and customers.
• Travel up to 15% in support of project execution and testing.
• Experience with hardware and/or software integration, managing requirements derivation and allocation, or architecture design.
• Proficient in executing test engineering tasks including requirements analysis, design review support, formal validation planning, test, verification, and risk management.
• Experience with DOORS, JIRA, and MagicDraw (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Strong writing and presentation skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Active Secret Clearance preferred; Secret eligibility required.
