Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IA Access Management Analyst to support Identity and Access Management (IAM) operations and cybersecurity initiatives within a Department of Defense environment. The selected candidate will perform Identity and Access Management services to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and non-repudiation of sensitive and classified information and information systems.
The IA Access Management Analyst serves as an Information Assurance (IA) Subject Matter Expert (SME) for access and identity management and all associated IA policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of DoD Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) principles and be knowledgeable in the policies, processes, and technologies supporting secure access management across enterprise environments.

Responsibilities
- Perform Identity and Access Management (IAM) activities to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and non-repudiation of sensitive and classified information and information systems.
- Serve as an Information Assurance Subject Matter Expert (IA SME) for access and identity management policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support the implementation and operation of Department of Defense Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) services in accordance with applicable DoD policies, procedures, and processes.
- Apply knowledge of DoD Instruction 8520.03, Identity Authentication for Information, to validate and manage access to systems, applications, and data resources.
- Ensure users, devices, and entities are granted or denied access in accordance with established security policies and authorization requirements.
- Review, analyze, and maintain access control mechanisms and identity management processes to support secure operations.
- Support account provisioning, access reviews, and identity lifecycle management activities.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of documentation related to IAM processes, procedures, and security controls.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, system administration, and engineering teams to ensure compliance with Department of Defense and organizational security requirements.
- Participate in audits, assessments, and continuous monitoring activities related to access management and information assurance.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of identity and access management operations.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant Information Technology experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM) or Information Assurance (IA) functions.
- Understanding of Department of Defense Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) concepts and practices.
- Working knowledge of DoD Instruction 8520.03, Identity Authentication for Information, and its application to access management.
- Experience implementing and maintaining access control policies and procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Sensitivity Level: IT-II (Non-Critical Sensitive)
- Active Secret security clearance required
Candidates must possess:
- A DoD 8570-approved baseline certification at IAT Level II, such as:
- Security+
- CCNA Security
- CySA+
- GICSP
- SSCP
- Other DoD-approved IAT Level II certifications
- A DLA-approved Computing Environment (CE) certification
- Experience supporting Department of Defense or Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise Identity and Access Management technologies and solutions.
- Knowledge of ICAM frameworks, authentication mechanisms, and access control methodologies.
- Experience supporting cybersecurity compliance and continuous monitoring initiatives.
- Understanding of information assurance policies and cybersecurity best practices.
