Everforth ECS Federal has an immediate opening for a Tech/Exploitation Analyst for a Department of Defense (DoD) network located in a contractor facility.
The Technical Exploitation Analyst supports the analysis, exploitation, and assessment of adversarial Unmanned Systems, including UAS/UXS platforms, associated technologies, electronic components, software, communications systems, payloads, and related equipment.
The analyst conducts and supports technical exploitation activities that enable operational intelligence, threat analysis, targeting support, vulnerability assessments, and counter-UXS mission requirements. This position works under the guidance of the Technical Exploitation Lead and collaborates with intelligence analysts, engineers, systems analysts, network analysts, operational personnel, and external mission partners to translate technical findings into actionable intelligence.

The Technical Exploitation Analyst supports the analysis, exploitation, and assessment of adversarial Unmanned Systems, including UAS/UXS platforms, associated technologies, electronic components, software, communications systems, payloads, and related equipment.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Support the examination, characterization, documentation, and assessment of recovered, captured, acquired, or otherwise obtained UXS-related hardware, software, payloads, components, communications systems, and supporting technologies.
- Conduct technical exploitation support activities, including component identification, system analysis, technical documentation, software review, data extraction, forensic analysis, and technical reporting.
- Assist in the analysis of adversarial UXS platforms, subsystems, electronic components, control systems, payloads, communications links, data storage devices, sensors, and related technologies.
- Support the development of technical reports, exploitation summaries, intelligence updates, technical assessments, and vulnerability assessments related to adversarial UXS capabilities, configurations, tactics, and operational methods.
- Integrate technical exploitation findings into broader intelligence assessments, threat analysis products, targeting support efforts, and counter-UXS mission planning.
- Coordinate with operational personnel, all-source analysts, systems analysts, network analysts, engineers, forensic specialists, and external mission partners to validate findings and support mission outcomes.
- Assist in identifying emerging technologies, technical trends, system vulnerabilities, component sourcing patterns, exploitation opportunities, and evolving adversarial UXS capabilities.
- Maintain and update technical repositories, exploitation documentation, analytic references, component records, imagery, technical diagrams, chain-of-custody documentation, and mission support data related to adversarial UXS systems.
- Support briefings and written products for senior leaders, operational stakeholders, intelligence consumers, and interagency or mission partner audiences.
- Ensure technical exploitation activities are conducted in accordance with applicable security, handling, documentation, and intelligence oversight requirements.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in intelligence studies, engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, digital forensics, electronics, information technology, physics, criminal justice, or a related technical discipline preferred; a dditional years of relevant operational, military, intelligence, technical exploitation, electronics, forensics, or counter-UXS experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience supporting technical exploitation, intelligence analysis, counter-UXS, weapons technical intelligence, forensic exploitation, electronic systems analysis, or related mission areas.
- Familiarity with unmanned systems, UAS/UXS platforms, payloads, electronic components, communications equipment, sensors, navigation systems, control systems, or related technologies.
- Ability to support hands-on examination and documentation of technical equipment, components, circuit boards, data storage media, wiring, antennas, RF components, batteries, sensors, and related subsystems.
- Ability to assist with component identification, system characterization, software review, data extraction, forensic support, and technical reporting.
- Working knowledge of intelligence production, operational intelligence support, technical assessments, or threat analysis processes.
- Ability to produce clear, concise, and technically accurate written products, including exploitation notes, technical summaries, intelligence updates, and formal reports.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including intelligence analysts, engineers, operational personnel, network analysts, systems analysts, and external mission partners.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and briefing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a mission-focused environment while maintaining attention to detail and compliance with security requirements.
- Prior experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, interagency, special operations, counterterrorism, counter-UXS, or technical exploitation missions.
- Experience supporting Special Mission Units, special operations forces, joint task forces, or other operational elements in an intelligence, technical exploitation, targeting, counter-UXS, or mission support capacity.
- Experience with adversarial UAS/UXS systems, commercial off-the-shelf drone platforms, modified unmanned systems, improvised payloads, or recovered technical material.
- Experience with electronics exploitation, hardware teardown, RF systems, communications analysis, embedded systems, firmware/software review, or digital forensics.
- Familiarity with forensic tools, data extraction methods, exploitation workflows, component databases, technical repositories, or intelligence reporting systems.
- Understanding of UXS command-and-control methods, telemetry systems, RF links, GNSS/GPS components, autopilot systems, sensors, payload integration, and commercial drone technologies.
- Experience preparing technical intelligence products, vulnerability assessments, capability assessments, or exploitation reports for operational or senior-level audiences.
- Ability to brief technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating with national-level agencies, laboratories, combatant commands, task forces, Special Operations Forces, Special Mission Units, or external mission partners.
