Title: Senior Informatica IDMC Developer
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Toronto
Pay range: C$45 INC
Role and Responsibilities
As a Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) / Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) Sr. Developer| need to perform overall system design & development for applying Informatica capabilities and meet business requirements following best practices.Analyze data| using measurement techniques| drafting KPIs and building Data Sources| reports and dashboards to address business questions.Work with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to understand business problems and ETL system design| development based on the business requirements.Prepare design| review / sign-off related documentation| training| and support for users at different levels.Key responsibilities of this role include:oTranslate detailed specifications into Informatica / IICS ETL process design.oAnalyze| design| develop| test and document ETL processes.oMeet business requirement and deliver required code following industry best practices. Complete Hands-on involvement is needed.oAccomplishing ETL processes with scripts programming like VB| Shell or Perl scripts.oUtilize SQL| scripts and/or other tools to assist with solution development.oConduct unit tests and assist in test preparations to ensure data integrity| data quality and program quality.oAssist with troubleshooting of ETL processes in Quality Assurance/SIT or Production environments.Using Agile approach| work closely with software developers| architects| business analysts| designers| and the clients representatives to define the direction and approach to design and development.Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members| stakeholders and business users. Prepare and deliver presentations to business users.
Essential Skills: MUST HAVE Skill sets8-10 years of overall ETL development experience in a large IT organization| including a minimum of 5+ years of strong hands-on Development experience in Informatica Powercenter and IICS / IDMC for at least 2+ Years.Bachelors degree in Computer Science| Engineering| or related area.Experience writing complex SQL queries (using databases like Oracle and MS SQL) for Data sources and visualization.Solid knowledge and experience with SQL and relational platforms (Oracle or SQL Server)Experience working within a cross-functional agile (e.g.| SCRUM| SAFe| etc.) team to provide client delivery.Knowledge of Agile development practices and experience with project management tools such as BitBucket| Jira etc.Very Good Communication and Client management skills. Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.Demonstrated problem solving| communication and organizational skills| a positive attitude| and the proven ability to negotiate and influence others to obtain desired results. Strong professional consulting skills.Ability to speak in business terms| as well as the ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally.Mature| confident| and performance-oriented.MUST HAVE Skill SetsEligibility for Reliability Status Clearance i.e. last 5 Years stay in Canada is needed.
