Job Description
The Special Technical Operations (STO) Security Administrator / Security Manager is responsible for overseeing, implementing, and enforcing security policies and procedures that protect highly sensitive missions, systems, and information with support to the IO/IW campaign plans and operaitons. This role supports classified and special access programs by ensuring strict compliance with Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and Space Force security requirements. The position serves as a trusted security authority, advising leadership, supporting mission execution, and safeguarding personnel, facilities, information, and technical operations across multiple security disciplines.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
- Administer and manage security operations for Special Technical Operations (STO), Special Access Programs (SAP)
- Ensure compliance with DoD, IC, CCMD, and Space Force security directives, policies, and instructions
- Oversee personnel security processes, including clearance verification, access eligibility, indoctrinations, debriefings, and continuous evaluation support
- Manage information security, including classification guidance, document control, marking, handling, storage, transmission, and destruction of classified materials
- Coordinate physical security measures for secure facilities, SCIFs, restricted areas, and controlled access environments
- Support cybersecurity and technical security requirements in coordination with IT and information assurance team
- Perform security audits, inspections, self-assessments, track corrective actions
- Support incident response, investigations, and reporting of security violations or adverse events
- Serve as the primary liaison with government security offices, counterintelligence, and oversight authorities
- Provide security guidance to leadership on operational risk, mitigation strategies, and mission impacts

Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 4 years of related work experience
- Demonstrated experience in security administration within DoD, IC, or SAP/STO environments
- In-depth knowledge of personnel, information, physical, and industrial security disciplines
- Familiarity with governing security frameworks and regulations (e.g., DoD manuals, SAP policy, IC directives)
- Strong attention to detail, judgment, and ability to handle highly sensitive information
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure, classified operational environments
- Prior experience supporting space, aerospace, intelligence, or advanced technical programs
- Experience managing or supporting SCIF operations
- Active TS/SCI clearance required; US Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in Personnel, Physical, Facility & Industiral Security within the Special Access Program (SAP) community
