Job Title: SevOne / SANO Specialist
Location: Remote in Canada
Duration: 12 months
Client: IBM Canada
Pay Range: C$70 to C$90

The ideal candidate will support enterprise-scale telecom and network performance monitoring, ensuring high availability, reliability, and operational excellence across complex network environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with SevOne, SANO, and/or Netcool platforms
- Background in TELCO, telecommunications, or large-scale network environments
- Experience in network performance monitoring, fault management, or service assurance
- Understanding of network protocols, infrastructure, and telecom operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with additional monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Familiarity with OSS/BSS environments
- TELCO vendor or carrier experience preferred (e.g., Tier 1 or Tier 2 telecom operators)
- Scripting or automation experience (Python, Shell, etc.)
- Security clearance preferred
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and optimize SevOne, SANO, and/or Netcool monitoring platforms
- Monitor TELCO network performance, identify issues, and support rapid incident resolution
- Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reporting for network health and performance metrics
- Collaborate with network engineering and operations teams to improve visibility and service assurance
- Analyze performance data to proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and capacity issues
- Troubleshoot network incidents across multi-vendor environments
- Ensure monitoring tools align with TELCO operational standards and SLAs
