Position Overview
OMNI is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to provide technical leadership and Government oversight supporting enterprise infrastructure deployments, cloud modernization initiatives, and facility stand-up activities. This role will work closely with Government stakeholders and contractor teams to ensure successful implementation of infrastructure solutions that support critical national security missions.

Position Overview
OMNI is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to provide technical leadership and Government oversight supporting enterprise infrastructure deployments, cloud modernization initiatives, and facility stand-up activities. This role will work closely with Government stakeholders and contractor teams to ensure successful implementation of infrastructure solutions that support critical national security missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Government oversight for enterprise infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and modernization efforts.
- Coordinate the installation, integration, testing, and acceptance of IT equipment and cloud-enabled services.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Government stakeholders and contractor teams to support project execution and issue resolution.
- Support facility stand-up, expansion, and operational transition activities.
- Evaluate cloud migration strategies and infrastructure modernization initiatives across enterprise environments.
- Conduct site visits to assess infrastructure readiness, operational capabilities, and deployment progress.
- Develop technical briefings, status reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for Government leadership.
- Monitor project schedules, identify risks, and provide recommendations to support mission success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure solutions align with operational requirements and security standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud environments, or IT modernization initiatives.
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of enterprise networking, virtualization technologies, server infrastructure, and storage solutions.
- Experience coordinating infrastructure deployments across multiple sites and stakeholder organizations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to brief senior leadership.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required; Polygraph preferred.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
