Description

DNI is seeking a qualified VTC Services SME candidate to support the U.S. Air Force (USAF) at Langley AFB (Ryan Center) in Hampton, VA.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act as the central contact responsible for scheduling and organizing point to point and multipoint audio and video conferences via NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks located in the Ryan Center.
  • Coordinate all Ryan Center conference room scheduling and resolve conflicts with the unit Commander or designated representative.
  • Coordinate with users and remote site facilitators on special equipment or room configuration requirements.
  • Provide an overview of the videoconferencing settings (mode, microphone use, etc.), as well as remote and onsite video conferencing training for room facilitators, conference participants, and equipment users.
  • Load and configure video conferencing software applications to maintain compliance with Defense Intelligence Security Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and AFNETOPS directives.
  • Perform and enforce IA policies and procedures IAW DISA STIGs and AFNETOPS directives for Command and Control (C2) and Intelligence Systems. Maintain, load, safeguard, and destroy cryptographic material provided by the Government in support of assigned VTC equipment as required.
  • Maintain audio-visual processing and distribution equipment and infrastructure within the Ryan Center.
  • Advise commander on the acquisition of audio-visual equipment.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and remediate VTC suite outages, including conducting periodic test calls.
  • Develop and organize VTC operation.


Requirements

  • Working knowledge of AOC-specific information and of the unit databases.
  • Good communications skills and expert planning skills.
  • Extensive experience with current telecommunications technologies and ability to leverage current information technologies.
  • Ability to efficiently transform management requirements into effective solutions.
  • Highly desired: Bachelor's degree in an accredited institution in a field applicable to this position (ig: computer science, information technology) with two (2) years' experience providing technical expertise and support for VTC systems including installation, upgrade, resolution of interoperability issues and administration of hardware and software.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:
  • This position requires US citizenship and current TOP SECRET Security Clearance with SCI eligibility. We can work candidates who do not have a TS but must have a SECRET at start of work and be eligible for TS.
  • Must possess CompTIA Security + certification.
  • This position requires ability to travel as required.
