Position Title: Corporate HR and Payroll Administrator

Location: Bellevue, Nebraska (Hybrid with work from home as authorized by management)

Position Overview

The HR/Payroll Administrator plays a key role in supporting day-to-day human resources operations and ensuring timely, accurate payroll processing. This position maintains employee records, assists with onboarding, handles HR inquiries, and supports core HR programs. The role also manages payroll activities, maintains payroll data, and ensures compliance with all applicable regulations. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Human Resources (HR) Support
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, and benefits enrollment.
  • Process new hire paperwork, conduct pre-employment screening, and coordinate onboarding activities.
  • Update and maintain HR information systems (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs, directing more complex inquiries to the appropriate HR representative.
  • Coordinate HR programs and initiatives, including training and development, performance management, and employee engagement activities.
  • Support HR projects through research, data analysis, and contributing to policy and procedure development.
  • Manage HR calendars, schedule meetings, and organize appointments.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments and changes, and respond to employee questions about benefits.
  • Prepare and distribute HR communications such as announcements, memos, and updated policies.
  • Assist with HR reporting and data analysis as required.

Payroll Administration
  • Process payroll on a regular schedule, ensuring accuracy of hours worked, earnings, deductions, and taxes - Preferred with experience in the COSTPOINT payroll system.
  • Maintain and update payroll and employee records within HRIS/payroll systems.
  • Review timesheets and attendance records for completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll-related reports to management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Support annual and quarterly payroll reporting, including W-2s and tax filings.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, direct deposit, and timekeeping.
  • Assist with audits and maintain confidential payroll documentation.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in human resources, administration, or a related field Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices (preferred) Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

Prior experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) contracting environments.

Familiarity with CMMI, ISO 9001, and ISO 27001 standards.
