Job Description
TEKsystems is hiring 100% remote Service Desk Technicians in support of IT modernization, cybersecurity, and information management services efforts for a critical U.S. Army agency.
Core Responsibilities:
- Remote Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, router, VPN, and device performance issues without physical access.
- Ticket Management: Log, prioritize, and manage customer issues via ServiceNow.
- User Support: Communicate clearly with remote users via phone, chat, and email to guide them through system setups and software updates.
- Escalation: Identify complex network issues or hardware failures and route them to senior engineers or field office technicians.
Requirements:
• Active Secret clearance
• CompTIA Security+
• 3+ years of Service Desk experience
• Experience working with ServiceNow ticketing
• Working knowledge around Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
