Security Delivery Lead

Job Description:
As a Security Consulting Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and compliance of critical programs. You will coordinate closely with the Program ISSM to secure and maintain authority to operate (ATO) on both NIPR and SIPR networks, while also managing and updating the program’s eMASS records. Your responsibilities will include leading the creation and maintenance of comprehensive system documentation, reviewing and assessing the risk of all Coder Workspace images, and spearheading security audits to identify and document system security controls. You will be expected to demonstrate advanced expertise in application security, cyber risk management, AWS security, and cybersecurity assessment, leveraging your knowledge to uphold the highest standards of protection.
In this position, you utilize your familiarity with certification and accreditation standards, particularly NIST SP 800-53A and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, to guide the completion and ongoing maintenance of Assessment & Authorization (A&A) documentation. This includes developing and updating system security plans, conducting security risk assessments, and preparing security test and evaluation plans necessary for achieving and sustaining ATO for hosted applications. You will also be responsible for maintaining the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) and all other documentation related to system security. Success in this role will be supported by your hands-on experience with security frameworks, your ability to lead security initiatives, and your proficiency in using tools such as eMASS and AWS security services. Holding active Sec+ and CISSP certifications will be essential as you navigate complex security landscapes and drive continuous improvement in program security posture.
