Position Summary
The SharePoint Site Collection Administrator (SCA) is responsible for the administration, organization, governance, and migration of classified SharePoint content residing within a SIPRNET environment. This individual serves as the primary administrator and steward of site collections, ensuring information is properly structured, secured, maintained, and successfully migrated to a new classified SharePoint environment.
The position works closely with functional stakeholders, content owners, cybersecurity personnel, and migration teams to preserve mission-critical information, maintain appropriate access controls, and support a seamless transition to the target platform while minimizing operational disruption.

Primary Responsibilities
• Serves as the primary Site Collection Administrator for classified SIPRNET SharePoint environments, managing site collections, libraries, lists, permissions, and content governance.
• Maintains the integrity, organization, accessibility, and security of mission-critical SharePoint data and collaboration services.
• Conducts content inventories, metadata reviews, permissions assessments, and data cleanup activities to prepare legacy environments for migration.
• Coordinates the migration of SharePoint sites, documents, libraries, workflows, and permissions to a new classified collaboration environment.
• Validates migrated content to ensure data integrity, proper access controls, metadata preservation, and operational functionality.
• Partners with mission stakeholders, site owners, cybersecurity personnel, and migration teams to ensure successful migration planning and execution.
• Administers user access, security groups, and role-based permissions to ensure appropriate handling of classified information.
• Develops and maintains site governance standards, migration procedures, inventories, and operational documentation.
• Identifies and resolves content management issues, duplicate data, broken permissions, and information architecture challenges.
• Provides end-user support, guidance, and training related to SharePoint site administration, content organization, and migration activities.
• Supports compliance reviews, access audits, and governance assessments to maintain accountability and information security.
• Tracks migration progress, risks, issues, and remediation actions while providing status reporting to leadership.
Key Qualifications
Required
• Active Secret clearance.
• 3–5 years of SharePoint administration experience.
• Experience serving as a Site Collection Administrator.
• Experience managing permissions, libraries, metadata, and site architecture.
• Experience supporting content migration or data migration projects.
• Strong understanding of information management and governance principles.
• Experience supporting SIPRNET or other classified collaboration environments.
• Experience with SharePoint migration tools and methodologies.
• Experience performing content inventories and records management activities.
• Knowledge of DoD information management and cybersecurity requirements.
• Familiarity with SharePoint Server administration and PowerShell.
