Indotronix is seeking an :Engineering Zonal Task Leader (Aircraft Manufacturing) Level 3
Location:San Antonio, TX
Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift
- 1st and 2nd shift are 4/10's with two potential schedules, either Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday
- 3rd shift is Monday-Friday
OT/Weekend Work: As required

Job Description

Provide engineering support for aircraft modification and production activities by interpreting engineering drawings, clarifying design intent, and ensuring alignment between engineering and manufacturing teams. Support build execution, change integration, technical issue resolution, and engineering prioritization throughout the production lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and communicate design intent to production and support teams.
• Provide engineering support during development, modification, testing, and production phases.
• Monitor build activities and ensure alignment with engineering requirements.
• Support engineering drawing revisions and change implementation.
• Assist manufacturing teams with technical clarifications and process improvements.
• Conduct impact assessments for engineering changes.
• Investigate technical, operational, and quality issues and recommend solutions.
• Coordinate engineering priorities and support cross-functional integration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 2+ years of experience in product engineering or production operations.
• 2+ years of experience supporting military or commercial programs.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of related engineering experience.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• 2+ years of Shipside Engineering Support experience.
• Experience supporting aircraft modification or aerospace manufacturing programs.

Education

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited institution.
