RESPONSIBILITIES
-Stay current on technologies and trends and be capable of making informed suggestions and decisions for technology updates
- Ensuring our networks meet or exceed standards
- Experience mentoring junior team members
- Working with customers to meet their technology needs of the future
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ Years of Linux System Administration
- General understanding of Linux internals (system calls, file systems and processes)
- The ideal candidate will have experience or a sampling of the following topics:
- Linux Operating Systems to include, networking, desktops, firewalls, and servers
- Building, deploying, and documenting complex networks and systems
- Hypervisors, virtualization technology, and virtual desktop infrastructure
- Build and maintain secure and hardened configuration standards
- Experience with SaltStack automation framework
- Experience and knowledge of network protocols, routing protocols, policy-based routing, security, and maintaining networking infrastructure
EDUCATION
A relevant college degree and/or practical experience, commensurate with the position you are seeking
