Job Description

Position Summary

Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Acquisition Program Logistician to provide expert life-cycle logistics support to complex weapon system programs within the Armament Directorate at Warner Robins AFB, GA. This role ensures the planning, development, execution, and sustainment of logistics strategies, documentation, and processes in accordance with DoD acquisition policy, program-specific requirements, and all applicable Performance Work Statement (PWS) standards.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

Life-Cycle Logistics & Sustainment
  • Lead all Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements in accordance with DoDI 5000-series guidance and program office requirements.
  • Develop, review, and update logistics documentation including Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Sustainment Strategies, Product Support Packages, and logistics input to milestone documentation.
  • Analyze logistics risks, readiness impacts, and supportability constraints to inform program decisions.

Acquisition & Program Support
  • Support acquisition planning activities, including strategy development, milestone preparation, and logistics-specific requirements in accordance with PWS guidelines.
  • Contribute to source selection preparation in a non-decision-making advisory role, consistent with PWS guidance on contractor advisory roles.

Technical & Configuration Support
  • Provide logistics analysis for system upgrades, modifications, and integration activities.
  • Support configuration control processes by reviewing engineering changes, assessing sustainment impacts, and coordinating logistics inputs.

Classified Materials Handling & Security Support
  • Support proper handling, tracking, and storage of classified materials as required by the PWS, including SCI product management.
  • Ensure compliance with PWS security requirements and DD Form 254.

Meetings, Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Participate in program meetings, IPTs, technical interchange meetings, and sustainment reviews.
  • Coordinate with government leads, engineers, analysts, and external stakeholders to ensure logistics requirements are integrated and communicated.

Task Order & Reporting Requirements
  • Prepare logistics inputs to CDRLs, milestone reviews, task trackers, and recurring program reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation aligned with Task Order Management requirements.


Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Secret

Education: Bachelors degree and 10 years relevant experience; OR Masters degree and 7 years relevant experience

Certifications: DAWIA/DAF Acquisition Logistics Level II or III certification (or equivalent).

Technical Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute logistics activities across the Defense Acquisition Lifecycle, integrating all 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements to strengthen sustainment strategies and readiness outcomes.
  • Skilled in analyzing supply performance, reliability, maintainability, and readiness indicators to inform program decisions and improve sustainment planning accuracy.
  • Proficient in developing and updating logistics products such as Technical Orders and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs), including identification of system issues (e.g., engine FOD inspections) and coordination of spares procurement.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Experienced in collaborating with government leads, engineers, vendors, and sustainment teams to align logistics requirements and support compliant program execution.
  • Able to brief leadership on logistics impacts, sustainment readiness, and supply chain issues, providing clear, actionable insights that support decision-making.
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead logistics efforts-such as GFE accountability, inspection directives, and procurement actions-while maintaining accuracy, transparency, and mission focus.
