What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access activity, verify credentials, and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
• Carry authorized armed post equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable site requirements, maintaining professional conduct and readiness throughout the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
