Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
- Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- 1 year working with composites, elastomers, and associated processing techniques.
- Hands-on lab experience with polymer chemistry analytical techniques.
- Familiarity with materials such as epoxy, cyanate ester, bismaleimide, urethane, polyimide, reinforcements, and adhesives.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Work in a casual, professional environment with multi-disciplinary engineering teams who deliver cutting-edge aerospace solutions.
- Split your time between office, lab, and production floor-see ideas move from test to flight.
- Apply chemistry, physics, and material science to develop and qualify composite materials and processing methods.
