Joint Training Systems Specialist
The Opportunity:
Conduct training and readiness support across all four phases of the Joint Training System. D evelop appropriate C/JMETL for the organization. Assist in the writing of Combined and Joint Training plans. Provide support to Significant Military Exercise for the collection of Training Objective Observations and Training Objective Evaluations. Assist the client in the assessment of training objective accomplishment and prepare written readiness assessments. Provide guidance, program administration, and technical training for the Joint Training Tool (JTT) utilization during the four phases of the JTS. Provide training, up to 4 times per year, to command and commander in meeting milestones defined in current versions of CJCS Joint Training Policy: CJCSI 3500.01, and Joint Training Manual: CJCSI 3500.03f. Assist the government in the monthly readiness reporting via the Defense Readiness Reporting System Strategic (DRRS-S) with collection and dissemination of Joint Staff Readiness. Assist the government in Conditions-based Operational Control Transition Plan (COTP) efforts and develop and create supporting briefing products for the COTP Governance Process.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 10+ years of experience with the military
- 3+ years of experience at a corps level headquarters or above
- Knowledge of operation of the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), the Joint Training Tool (JTT), and Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Ability to enter and track data in DRRS
- Ability to instruct new users on DRRS operations
- Ability to build exercise details into the Joint Training Tool system
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience working at a Joint and Combined Headquarters
- Experience working in USFK
- Experience working with the foreign militaries
- Knowledge of the Joint Event Life Cycle, the Conditions-Based Transition Planning
- Completion of Military Education Level 4 (MEL4) or Master Leaders Course
