Data Analyst

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Data Analyst to support a USSOCOM program based at Hurlburt Field, FL . This position is a full-time role that will be fully onsite . This position is critical in supporting mission and business operations through effective data management, analysis, and reporting. As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights while enabling data-driven decision-making in a high-impact defense environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify new data sources and improve methods for data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Gather and translate customer requirements into technical data solutions
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical data issues
• Design and implement algorithms and data manipulation processes using R, Python, C++, JavaScript, Go, and other programming languages
• Develop tools and data solutions that support self-service reporting and analytics frameworks
• Improve data quality and usability by enforcing data governance principles, including metadata management, data lineage, and standardized business definitions
• Collaborate with cross-functional data teams to produce high-quality qualitative and quantitative outputs supporting SOCOM mission products
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to meet customer deliverables and timelines
• Support a mission-driven environment with high operational expectations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in data analysis or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Experience performing tasks similar in scope, complexity, and technical requirements
• Proficiency in one or more programming/data analysis languages (Python, R, etc.)
• Strong understanding of data management and data quality principles
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Active Secret Clearance

Compensation to include:

• Salary Range: $70,000 - $93,000 *based on experience*
• Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if Required by Law
