i3 is seeking a Mid Level - Senior Test Engineer to join our experts in developing systems and solutions that keep our world safe.
Responsibilities
- Perform test planning, monitoring, and test execution activities for weapons systems software.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders.
- Devise the test objectives, organization test policies, test strategies, and test plans.
- Estimate the testing to be done and acquire necessary resources.
- Schedule the test for execution and then monitor, measure, control, and report on the test progress, the product quality status, and the test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust to evolving conditions.
- Document test results and maintain detailed reports on defects, root causes, and corrective actions
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a concentration in a STEM field is required. Additional experience may substitute for a degree
- Minimum of 4 years relevant technical experience
- Understanding of requirement traceability and decomposition
- Data Analysis experience
- Must be able to work in a technical team environment
- Experience creating and documenting test plans/procedures, analyzing results and creating reports
- Experience with UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems
- Active DoD Secret clearance required
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Up to 25% travel required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing software for performance and functionality based on the requirement specification and the ability to identify and document the exact sequence of activities desired.
- 6 - 10 years of relevant technical experience
- Security+ certification

- Knowledge of office administration and procedures.

- Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
