OBXtek is currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer (CONUS). In support of a Network Engineers and Specialists Support (NE&S) project for DHA.
Position Description:
- Serve as the premier network SME for the program supporting CONUS and enterprise operations.
- Lead design, configuration, sustainment, and troubleshooting of LAN/WLAN/WAN environments.
- Provide escalation support for complex network outages and performance issues.
- Mentor and technically lead Referral Network Engineers, Associates, and Specialists.
- Implement and maintain network security controls, firewalls, VPNs, and Zero Trust architectures.
- Develop and update standards, SOPs, and technical documentation.
- Support RMF/ATO activities, vulnerability remediation, and compliance efforts.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
OR technical/vocational education with additional experience.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years (degree) or 10 years (non‑degree) Enterprise Network Engineering experience.
- Extensive experience with Cisco infrastructure, SolarWinds, ARMIS, Ansible, and enterprise routing/switching.
- Experience supporting DoD healthcare systems (e.g., MHS GENESIS).
Certifications
- IAM Level III (DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant)
- CCNP - Required
- CISSP - Required
