Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support for enterprise server and virtualization environments across distributed infrastructure platforms.
- Plan, build, deploy, and maintain systems across Windows, Linux/Unix, and virtualized environments, including Hyper V clusters and Wintel platforms.
- Execute system provisioning, configuration, patching, and lifecycle management activities to ensure stable and secure operations.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and health, identifying and resolving issues to maintain continuous operations.
- Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting, break-fix support, and service restoration across infrastructure components.
- Support virtualization operations, including VM provisioning, image building, and management using tools such as SCCM and related platforms.
- Assist with system migrations across data centers, on-premises environments, and cloud platforms while minimizing disruption.
- Coordinate with security, network, and operations teams to maintain compliance and protect system integrity.
- Support disaster recovery readiness by maintaining runbooks, executing backup validation, and supporting recovery activities during incidents.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and reporting artifacts to support auditability and consistent service delivery.
Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:

- Experience supporting incident response, troubleshooting, and system restoration activities.
- Basic knowledge of monitoring tools and system performance management.
- Understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional IT teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, system administration, or infrastructure support within enterprise environments.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with Windows Server, Linux/Unix systems, and virtualization platforms.
- Familiarity with SCCM, image management, and deployment tools.
- Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments (on-premises and cloud).
- Knowledge of ITIL-based operations and incident management processes.
- Exposure to large-scale, multi-site enterprise environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and operational support skills.
- Ability to support 24/7 operational environments as needed.
