You will be the Int. Program Planner Senior-Integrated Planning, Skunk Works®-Level 3 for the Skunk Works® Integrated Planning Team which is responsible for delivering precise program-planning solutions that keep critical aerospace programs on-track.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Int. Program Planner Senior-Integrated Planning, Skunk Works®-Level 3 you will be responsible for leading the planning effort, developing and maintaining integrated schedules, and acting as a trusted advisor to ensure mission success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously refine integrated program schedules that reflect design, development, and sustainment phases.


  • Analyze task sequences, apply critical-path methodology, and produce monthly variance analyses to identify and mitigate schedule risks.


  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, contracts, business-management, production, and quality teams to align milestones, resources, and delivery commitments.


  • Support Earned Value Management by providing accurate schedule data for performance reporting and baseline change control.


  • Identify gaps in planning processes and lead remediation actions that improve schedule reliability and predictability.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an Interim Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications

• Experience with cost and/or schedule

• Experience leading cross-functional teams, projects, or programs

• Experience presenting to leadership, customers, or other stakeholders

Desired Skills:

• Degree in Construction Management, Program Management, Business Administration

• Experience with Schedule Performance Management Techniques, e.g. Earned Value Management

• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Previous experience with Deltek OpenPlan

• Excellent Communication and Organizational skills

• Active Secret Security Clearance

• Experience as a planning team leader and/or contract planner

• Supplier integration experience, performance analysis, and corrective action recommendation skills

• Familiarity with Risk and Opportunity Management, including identification, integration, and mitigation

• Demonstrated team building skills

• Demonstrated influencing and relationship building

• 3+ years of professional experience in operational planning or scheduling

• Experience analyzing planning metrics and trends and implementing actionable improvement plans

• Experience with networked schedules, integrity checks, and critical path methodology.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
