Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished expert to serve as a strategic advisor focused on Physical AI and advanced robotics. This individual will work closely with senior leadership to help define long-term direction, guide innovation efforts, and provide insight across emerging technologies, commercialization strategy, and ecosystem partnerships.
This is a high-impact, thought leadership role suited for someone with deep expertise at the intersection of AI and physical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Provide executive-level guidance on strategy related to robotics, autonomous systems, and Physical AI
Assess and refine technical roadmaps, research priorities, and innovation initiatives
Offer insight into emerging advancements in embodied AI, robot learning, and foundation models
Advise on system architecture, scalability, and commercialization approaches
Connect leadership with key stakeholders across industry, academia, and investment communities
Support growth initiatives including partnerships, talent strategy, and market positioning
Required Qualifications
Recognized subject matter expertise in one or more of the following:
Robotics
Embodied AI
Autonomous systems
Robot learning
Foundation models
Physical AI
15+ years of experience in leadership roles across:
Research institutions or academia
Advanced AI labs
Robotics or deep tech startups
Enterprise innovation environments
Proven contributions demonstrated through:
Published research or technical papers
Patents or intellectual property
Startup creation or scaling efforts
Commercialized products or deployments
Participation in or influence on industry standards
Advanced degree (PhD or equivalent experience) in AI, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong track record of innovation and thought leadership in emerging technologies
Established professional network spanning industry, academia, and investment communities
Preferred Experience
Prior experience serving in an advisory or consulting capacity
Background launching or scaling venture-backed organizations
Experience transitioning research into production environments
Familiarity with world foundation models, visual-language-action (VLA) systems, or humanoid robotics
