What You'll Do
As a Reliability Engineer, you will support engineering and logistics efforts for Navy programs by assisting with the analysis, review, and development of technical data and system support documentation. Under the guidance of senior engineers and program leaders, you will:
- Review technical data packages for compliance with engineering standards and program requirements
- Review engineering and technical referrals in accordance with established processes and procedures
- Assist in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality control and quality assurance systems
- Review, validate, and develop technical data, technical manuals, and provisioning documentation
- Analyze performance and supportability data to assist in the development of Readiness Based Sparing (RBS) models
- Support a variety of engineering, reliability, maintainability, and logistics-related activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced system readiness
- Contribute innovative ideas and technical solutions while developing professional engineering skills
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to review technical documentation and interpret engineering data
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 0-3 years of engineering, reliability, quality assurance, logistics, or technical support experience
- Familiarity with technical manuals, engineering drawings, or military technical documentation
- Exposure to quality assurance, reliability engineering, integrated logistics support (ILS), or systems engineering concepts
- Experience gained through internships, cooperative education programs, academic projects, or military service is highly valued
