Description of Duties:

The Event Support Asset Manager/Logistician supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

• Be responsible for logistics, organizing, controlling and maintaining all hardware and consumable asset inventory within a computer hardware/software environment that is ever-changing and improving.
• Be responsible for asset flow control in and out of the environment, shipping and receiving of assets, tracking movement of assets within the organization, tracking security issues as they pertain to asset management and database development for the tracking of assets including data entry and information maintenance.
• Be responsible for handling and properly marking both classified and unclassified assets, coordinating with other entities for the proper handling of assets.
• Ensure asset readiness in support of event architectures to include: engineering trade studies and objective life data analysis activities (end-of-life, end-of-service, etc.).
• Conduct inventories, logging, kit building and inventory maintenance within Remedy for current assets.

Basic Requirements:

• Must have 4, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
  • May be reduced with completion of advanced education
• Must have 2 years of directly related experience with logistics.
• Must have the ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to travel internationally
• Must have, or obtain, an active DoW Secret Security Clearance

Desired Requirements:

• Have experience working in Remedy
• Have extensive experience with Microsoft Excel

Compensation Details:
$60,000 - $75,000
