Job Description
NineFX is seeking a motivated Photogrammetrist to support product evaluations, quality studies, and new product initializations.
Responsibilities include:
• Sensor modeling and decomposing product formation elements to quantify image chain quality
• Geolocation and mensuration accuracy assessments
• Modeling geometric collection processes to trace exact ground to pixel locations
• Supporting engineering analysis for National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) assessments
• Performing baseline system performance assessments for sensor initialization
• Monitoring system performance over time
• Identifying causes of detected errors and recommending corrective actions
Required Experience / Education:
• Active TS required; must be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI and pass a polygraph within 30 days or upon customer request (contract requires TS/SCI with poly)
• 10+ years of imagery and imagery platform experience
• Bachelor’s in Photogrammetry, Image Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Statistics
• Experience with ARC GIS, SOCET GXP, QT Modeler, Active Earthscape, ERDAS Imagine, or Remote View
• Geolocation and mensuration assessment experience
• Applied knowledge of sensor imaging systems, products, and exploitation processes
• Understanding of systems engineering lifecycle, independent testing, and data verification
• Strong written/oral communication skills for briefings, technical issue resolution, and test plan/report writing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn, solve problems, and perform in a dynamic environment
• Proven track record of delivering results
Preferred Skillset:
• Knowledge of image quality standards, scales, and metrics
• Experience with DPPDB, CIB, and CI Ortho
• Image processing and digital signal processing experience
• Knowledge of NSG TCPED image chain
• Experience with Mensuration Services Program (MSP)
• ASPRS membership or certification
• Experience in DoD or IC operational, technical, or research environments
• Experience developing engineering code (C, Python, Matlab, IDL) for complex problems and repeatable processes
