What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones, helping to deter unauthorized access and unusual activity in varying environments and conditions.
• Maintain an armed presence in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal standards, handling security-related concerns with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• A current armed guard card and/or license is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
