Apex Systems is currently hiring a Cybersecurity Policy Administrator with Government Client located in MacDill AFB, Florida. You will be supporting the Army Edge Cloud Computing (AECC) initiative and is seeking a Cybersecurity Policy Administrator to drive cybersecurity governance efforts across mission-critical systems. This role focuses on policy enforcement, compliance alignment, and audit readiness within a secure DoD environment, ensuring systems meet evolving Army cybersecurity standards.
Project Details / Mission Supported:
• Maintain and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and governance frameworks
• Coordinate audits, evidence collection, and compliance documentation
• Align cybersecurity policies with engineering and program operational requirements
• Support classified environments, including systems requiring SIPR access
• Ensure compliance with DoD and Army cybersecurity regulations and directives
Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:
• Ability to acquire and maintain an Active Secret clearance (SIPR access required)
• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• CompTIA Security+ certification (must be obtained prior to start)
• Experience in:
• Cybersecurity governance
• Compliance and regulatory alignment
• Policy administration
• Familiarity with:
• DoD cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., RMF)
• Audit processes and compliance validation
Location: Must live within 4.5 hours of Washington, DC
Clearance Level: Clearance level - Secret
Salary/Pay range: Up to $70/hr
