Job Description

Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct all-source analysis of foreign state and non-state actor denial and deception capabilities, activities, programs, and tradecraft.
  • Analyze adversary efforts to mislead observers through manipulation, distortion, concealment, falsification, or selective disclosure of information.
  • Assess adversary attempts to control what U.S. intelligence collection assets observe, acquire, or interpret.
  • Analyze foreign programs designed to impair, degrade, misdirect, or neutralize U.S. intelligence collection across intelligence disciplines.
  • Assess camouflage, concealment, decoys, false indicators, signature management, and related deception methods.
  • Produce written intelligence assessments, reports, briefings, and analytic products.
  • Support customer-driven RFIs and MCIA production requirements.
  • Collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate, and integrate complex data from multiple sources.
  • Identify intelligence gaps and recommend or support collection requirements.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with MCIA and Intelligence Community counterparts.
  • Apply structured analytic techniques to test assumptions, challenge judgments, and strengthen analytic conclusions.


Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to denial and deception, all-source analysis, military deception, foreign military capabilities, intelligence collection risks, or related intelligence problem sets.
  • At least a portion of the relevant experience must be within the last 2 years.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrated comprehensive mission knowledge and skills relevant to the labor category.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, or technically advanced.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with IC members on information sharing, collection, analytic disputes, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive defense intelligence products.
  • Ability to identify intelligence gaps and support collection requirement development.
  • Ability to work on-site at MCIA, Quantico, VA.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Marine Corps, DoD, Service Intelligence Center, or Intelligence Community missions.
  • Familiarity with foreign military deception, denial and deception tradecraft, MILDEC, OPSEC deception planning, or collection vulnerability analysis.
  • Familiarity with IC analytic standards and intelligence production review processes.
  • Experience using structured analytic techniques such as ACH, Devil's Advocacy, Red Team Analysis, High-Impact/Low-Impact Analysis, or Alternative Futures Analysis.
