Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the Gs-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Coordinating or leading regional or programmatic accreditation self-study processes, including Standards compliance documentation and continuous improvement planning; 2) Administering or managing assessment platforms, survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics), and institutional data systems to support outcomes reporting and accreditation compliance; 3) Applying quantitative and qualitative assessment methodologies for outcomes and outputs while promoting the validity and reliability of assessment instruments; 4) Transforming assessment data into actionable insights through excellent communication and interpersonal skills and presenting the collected data to diverse audiences; and 5) Communicating assessment findings to diverse audiences through written reports, executive briefings, data visualizations, and professional or peer-reviewed publications; and 6) Applying higher education assessment frameworks and accreditation standards (e.g., NILOA's Principles of Excellence, AAC&U VALUE rubrics, MSCHE/HLC/SACSCOC standards) to design institution-wide assessment systems that promote validity, reliability, and continuous improvement. - You will serve as the Assistant Dean of Assessment, providing college-wide leadership in designing, implementing, and sustaining a comprehensive assessment system that supports accreditation, program improvement, and institutional effectiveness.
- You will design and lead cyclical program review and co-curricular assessment processes, producing evidence-based recommendations aligned with institutional strategic priorities and accreditation standards.
- You will lead institutional assessment efforts to develop strategic planning goals and priorities.
- You will establish assessment feedback loops that translate findings into actionable program and operational improvements, closing the assessment loop in alignment with accreditation expectations.
- You will develop assessment narratives, statistical analyses, and dashboard reporting that communicate program effectiveness to internal stakeholders and external accrediting bodies.
- You will manage institutional data collection systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility across academic and administrative units in support of assessment reporting requirements.
- You will collaborate with partner institutions to align program learning outcomes, assessment practices, and compliance reporting with institutional and accreditor requirements.
- You will develop valid and reliable surveys to measure program success in meeting accreditable, compliance, or reporting requirements.
- You will build institutional assessment capacity through professional development, consultation, and resource development for faculty and staff, fostering a culture of evidence-based decision-making and accountability.
- You will develop and maintain an assessment management system to track program learning outcomes, curriculum maps, and assessment cycle completion across all academic programs.
- You will interpret and apply assessment-related DoW policies, MSCHE accreditation standards, and higher education assessment frameworks to ensure institutional compliance and continuous improvement.
- You will lead the design and validation of direct and indirect measures of student learning, including rubric development, embedded assessments, capstone evaluations, and nationally normed instruments.
