Position Summary
The Program Cost Analyst will be responsible for conducting cost analysis, budgeting, and pricing for government contracts. This position demands strong analytical skills, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining compliance with contractual and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for government programs.
Prepare, review, and finalize monthly spend plans to support financial forecasting and compliance.
Support pricing strategies for all contract types
Analyze cost data and provide actionable insights to program and leadership teams.
Collaborate across departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Procurement Responsibilities
Oversee procurement activities to ensure communications, authorizations, purchase order execution, and invoicing are done properly and timely.
Work with subcontract administrator to ensure budgets are communicated and that monthly invoicing is accurate and complete.
Work with business management team to ensure monthly procurement forecasts are timely and communicated accurately.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in program cost analysis within government contracting.
Proven expertise in pricing and cost management.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Highly organized and able to adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected events.
Ability to react well under pressure and respond promptly to customer needs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; general knowledge of Microsoft Outlook products.
Experience with Cost Point and Cognos is preferred.
