We are currently seeking a Junior SharePoint Online Specialist to join our dedicated team. As a key contributor, you will provide crucial support to our esteemed client located in Norfolk, VA. This position requires an Active Secret Clearance and is full-time onsite.

We are currently seeking a Junior SharePoint Online Specialist to join our dedicated team. As a key contributor, you will provide crucial support to our esteemed client located in Norfolk, VA. This position requires an Active Secret Clearance and is full-time onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Design, modify, and implement SharePoint Online solutions to meet evolving customer requirements.
- Develop, configure, and maintain SharePoint lists, libraries, workflows, and metadata structures.
- Automate workflows using native SharePoint capabilities and Power Platform tools.
- Manage SharePoint permissions and access controls to ensure data integrity and security.
- Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint environments.
- Provide user training and support, ensuring best practices are followed for SharePoint utilization.
- Support full lifecycle application development, including database and web integration.
- Capture and analyze user requirements, translating them into functional SharePoint solutions.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), updating quarterly or as directed.
- Ensure 100% compliance with contract personnel qualification requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant Web/SharePoint experience.
- At least two (2) years of experience as a Site Owner or one (1) year as a Site Collection Administrator (SCA) for SharePoint 2013 or later.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with SharePoint content management, including permissions management and user training.
- Demonstrated experience in client-side SharePoint development, including site creation, solution development, lists, libraries, and workflows.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including:
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Structured programming
- Version control
- Quality assurance
- Documentation and end-user support
- Required Certification:
- CompTIA Security+ or IAT II certification equivalent.
- Desired Certification:
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD)
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced Government program, preferably supporting a Naval logistics command or repair activity.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Action-oriented, with the ability to identify, articulate, and implement opportunities.
