Location: Cape Canaveral, FL (Onsite Only)
Type of Role: Direct Hire (Full-Time, Onsite)
Shift: 9x80 Schedule (Every other Friday off); onsite full-time, no teleworking
Pay: The annual base salary range for this position is $104,500 – $184,115; final offers consider the scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market and business factors.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role is for an Engineering Associate Manager, Automated Test Equipment (ATE) leading a team of software and electrical engineers responsible for developing and sustaining multiple test equipment items within the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) portfolio. You will work onsite in Cape Canaveral, Florida on a flexible 9x80 schedule, interfacing with internal organizations and customers while providing technical leadership, people leadership, and program support for complex ATE and electrical ground support equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Lead a team of software and electrical engineers through the development and sustainment of multiple ATE systems within the FBM portfolio.
Interface with internal organizations and customer stakeholders to support automated test equipment needs and ensure alignment with program objectives.
Provide technical leadership and direction on ATE design, development, integration, and sustaining engineering activities.
Support proposal development, including cost estimating for ATE efforts.
Apply a strong technical background in analog, digital, and software?driven test systems to guide architecture and implementation decisions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS – BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited college/university, or equivalent experience/combined education.
3+ years of professional experience.
Strong technical background with experience developing and/or sustaining Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
Experience leading or supervising engineering teams or technical projects.
Ability to work onsite full?time in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with proposal development, including cost estimating for ATE projects.
Background in analog and digital electronics and software?driven test systems.
Experience working in defense, aerospace, or missile test environments.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills for interfacing with multidisciplinary teams and customers.
