Type of Role: Direct Hire (Full-Time, Onsite)
Shift: 9x80 Schedule (Every other Friday off); onsite full-time, no teleworking
Pay: Dependent on experience

POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role is for a Test Engineer III supporting the LE2 program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) near the Littleton space facility. You will work onsite full?time on a flexible 9x80 schedule, using your electrical engineering skills to support requirements analysis, design, procurement, manufacturing, test, and acceptance of complex electrical and electromechanical test systems and integrated test equipment for the U.S. Navy’s Ballistic Missile Flight Test Program.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test, and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multifunction integrated test equipment.

Lead the design, procurement, assembly, test, and verification of automated test systems, including data review and trending.

Develop hardware requirements from subsystem level down to all locally assigned support equipment test systems.

Interface with suppliers, customers, and internal design teams to provide cost?effective, low?risk solutions for test system needs.

Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors, and customers.

Create and update project and process documentation that aligns with project requirements.

Support Failure Review Board activities as required and drive issues to closure.

Mentor junior engineers and interface extensively with customers as well as senior leadership.

Travel and work at alternate work sites as required (less than 25%).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS – BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Hardware development experience.

Strong technical background with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or similar systems.

Experience with interconnect design.

Experience in one or more of the following tools: Creo, Windchill, Zuken, PSPICE.

Experience in one or more of the following programming languages for quick?turn applications: LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C#.

At least 3+ years of professional experience.

Active or ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience leading project teams and development efforts.

Experience with the full product lifecycle (development, deployment, retirement).

Experience with issue tracking tools and processes.

Ability to work autonomously and drive items to closure.

Capability to lead a team responsible for development and test of integrated test systems, serving as a subject matter engineer or equivalent.
