Location: Denver, CO; Highlands Ranch, CO; or Littleton, CO (Onsite Only)
Type of Role: Direct Hire (Full-Time, Onsite)
Shift: 9x80 Schedule (Every other Friday off); onsite full-time, no teleworking
Pay: The annual base salary range for this position is $123,500 – $217,695; final offers consider the scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market and business factors.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role is for an ASIC/FPGA Engineering Associate Manager leading and managing a team of ASIC/FPGA design and verification engineers in executing complex digital hardware development programs. You will work onsite in the Denver metro area (Denver/Highlands Ranch/Littleton) on a flexible 9x80 schedule, guiding technical execution and team performance across a portfolio of ASIC and FPGA projects for space and defense applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Lead and manage a team of ASIC/FPGA design and verification engineers, including staffing, performance management, and day-to-day technical direction.
Oversee execution of ASIC/FPGA projects, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, and budget.
Collaborate with program leadership and customers to align technical work with program objectives and requirements.
Support proposal activities, planning, and cost/schedule estimation for ASIC/FPGA engineering efforts.
Foster technical excellence and career development within the ASIC/FPGA engineering team.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS – BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Professional experience in ASIC and/or FPGA design or verification.
Experience leading projects or teams in a technical engineering environment.
Strong understanding of digital design flows, verification methodologies, and associated EDA toolchains.
Ability to work onsite full-time in the Denver metro area (Denver, Highlands Ranch, or Littleton).
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience managing ASIC/FPGA programs or control accounts, including schedule and budget responsibility.
Experience with space? or defense-grade FPGA and ASIC devices and development flows.
Familiarity with modern verification methodologies (e.g., UVM) and coverage-driven verification.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills suitable for leading highly technical teams and interfacing with customers and senior leadership.
