Job Description
Parker Tide is a small business in DC. We serve as a value-added partner to the government. We are seeking a Project Manager (Records Management) to work with one of our clients.
Title: Project Manager (Records Management)
Location: 100% Remote
Period of Performance: One Year Four Option Years.
Investigation/Clearance Level: Public Trust
Experience: 10 Years, Plus Supervisory Experience
Salary: Depends on Experience
Travel: May require travel to attend up to an estimated four in-person meetings per year.
Qualifications: SME with Federal Records Management, FOIA and FACA requirements, Section 508 Regulations, and expertise with technical writing requirements.
Description
• Provide comprehensive project support, content management, Section 508 remediation, and strategic advisory services to government.
• Manage digital workspaces, optimize business tools, and facilitate decision-making.
• Maintain and optimize the flow of priority correspondence through multiple systems including the Interim Content and Correspondence System (ICCT), Enterprise Content Management Module (ECMM), and Correspondence and Records (CoRe).
• Respond to the public (FOIA) and other federal staff while meeting all legislative mandates.
• Increase operational efficiency, ensure timely and accurate processing of controlled correspondence, and enhance enterprise readiness via improved workflows, documentation, and strategic planning.
• Document business process workflow for controlled correspondence, FOIA, Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), and records management capability.
• Provide project management that establishes and adheres to a roadmap, plan, and schedule for implementing improved process improvement of a website.
• Effective strategic planning, standard operating procedures and processes to address communications, governance, operational processing, etc.
• Timely identification, mitigation, and monitoring of potential and actual project risks.
• Identify and recommend any cultural changes necessary to support implementations.
• Perform project management tasks including milestone tracking for all strategic initiatives and meeting facilitation managing executive agendas, preparation of briefing materials, and documenting meeting minutes, action items, and decisions.
• Plan and execute a PMP that outlines project management-related information in accordance with (IAW) industry’s best practices. The Contractor shall maintain the PMP and provide updates to the Government upon request.
• Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for executing tasks Detailed project schedule including key milestones Resources required to accomplish the elements of the PMP Quality management.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports. The report shall include the status of all assigned tasks.
• Compile and submit an Annual Report of all elements of the Performance Management Plan. Report should summarize accomplishments, open items, and any areas of concern.
• Prepare and submit special reports to highlight tasks for management between monthly reports.
• Provide technical project management in support of correspondence management processing systems, methods of managing public inquiry via the internet, meeting Section 508 compliance standards, and facilitation of communication and work via electronic tools such as SharePoint.
• Identify and map internal strategic documents, frameworks, and tools to ORMS program activities included in background section above and update associated websites.
• Assist government program staff in drafting Business Case documents including Analysis of Alternatives, preparing draft recommendations, and other related services.
• Maintain and provide detailed backup for all work accomplished that provides full transparency of the information used to complete deliverables.
• Provide program support services to the Government in accordance with the approved project plan to support Leadership intent and strategic direction including the impact of new legislation / regulations to the organization, innovations/best practices in data content and management practices in the federal government and private sector (i.e., six sigma), strategic planning, and recommend improvements or new business processes.
