The employee must meet the Back to Basics functional area certification requirements for career category A - Program Management, Level 2 - Practitioner within the timeframe range of 1 - 5 years from appointment date into the position. As a ACQUISITION PROGRAM MANAGER at the NH-1101-3 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Direct the lifecycle planning and management of complex acquisition programs, and verify all cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met according to approved acquisition baseline.
- Manage program budget, obligation and execution in compliance with DoD Financial Management Regulations to ensure optimal resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate cost, schedule, and performance risks to ensure mission success and program stability.
- Lead cross-functional Integrated Product Teams and working groups to provide clear and accurate synchronization of engineering, logistics, transportation, contracting, and technical requirements.
- Interpret and implement acquisition, program management, financial and logistics regulations, policies, and procedures to confirm compliance and streamline business operations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for industry partners and DoD stakeholders to coordinate requirements and confirm contract deliverables and performance meet the Performance Work Statement/Statement of Work.
