Network Storage Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Storage Engineer to support a company focused on enterprise IT and cybersecurity operations for large-scale federal networking environments. This position is on-site at Quantico, VA . The Network Storage Engineer will design, implement, and manage high-performance storage systems supporting mission-critical infrastructure. Responsibilities for the Network Storage Engineer include:

• Design, implement, and maintain SAN/NAS storage environments, including NetApp and EMC solutions
• Perform capacity planning, performance analysis, and workload forecasting for enterprise systems
• Configure and support HA/DR solutions, including data replication, SnapMirror, and backup strategies
• Integrate storage with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and enterprise applications (SQL, Exchange, DFS)
• Execute upgrades, firmware updates, security configurations, and storage lifecycle management

Required Qualifications for the Network Storage Engineer include:

• 10+ years of experience with storage engineering, capacity planning, and performance management
• Strong experience with NetApp technologies (ONTAP 8.x/9.x, SnapCenter, SnapMirror, ONTAP CLI, System Manager)
• Hands-on experience with SAN/NAS technologies including iSCSI, NFS, CIFS, LUNs, FlexVols, and fiber channel
• Active Secret Clearance
• SecurityX Certification Required

Compensation for the Network Storage Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 depending on experience
