Job Description

Develop, maintain, and enhance software solutions for embedded systems and mission-critical applications. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to design, implement, test, and support software components while ensuring compliance with technical and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C and/or ADA.
• Support embedded software development and system integration activities.
• Participate in software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Utilize JIRA for task management, issue tracking, and project coordination.
• Support software documentation and technical reviews.

Required Qualifications

• 9+ years of software development experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in C and/or ADA programming.
• Experience using JIRA.
• Strong software design, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Embedded software development experience.
• Experience working on real-time or mission-critical systems.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
• Master's degree with 7+ years of related experience or PhD with 4+ years of related experience.
• ABET-accredited degree program.
