Position Overview
We are seeking a cleared Forklift Operator to support short-term TDY logistics operations (2–6 weeks) in a secure warehouse environment. This role focuses on safe and efficient material movement, inventory support, and transportation of equipment in compliance with all security and logistics protocols.
This is a temporary deployment role with per diem and housing provided.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $35–$40/hour
Per Diem: Provided during TDY
Housing: Provided
Duration: 2–6 weeks (TDY assignment)
Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, stage, and store materials safely
Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets efficiently
Transport materials within warehouse and between designated locations
Inspect shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with documentation
Pick, pack, and stage materials for outbound shipments
Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts and stock reconciliation
Ensure proper stacking, storage, and space utilization within the warehouse
Conduct daily equipment checks and report maintenance issues
Follow all safety, DOT regulations, and site security protocols
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment
Required Qualifications
Active Top Secret clearance (required)
Valid CDL (U.S. required; German CDL preferred)
Certified or experienced forklift operator
Experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling environments
Ability to operate equipment safely in a controlled/secure environment
Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required
Preferred Qualifications
Prior TDY or overseas deployment experience
Experience in cleared or government warehouse operations
Familiarity with shipping documentation and inventory systems
Work Environment
Warehouse operations in a secure/cleared facility
Short-term TDY assignment with potential for additional deployments
May require extended hours, shifts, or weekend support based on mission
