Physical Security Specialist(Analyst IV)

Embedded within the supported Agency's Physical Security Program, the contractor shall :
- Program Planning & Policy: Support the planning and assessment of the Supported Agency Physical Security Program by collaborating with inter-agency teams, recommending improvements, and developing policies, plans, and training materials.
- Design & Construction Review: Review construction and renovation designs (e.g., MILCON, GSA leases) for security compliance at Supported Agency sites, Controlled Facilities, and Open Storage areas, and submit assessments via design comment matrices.
- Infrastructure Oversight: Evaluate physical and electronic security installations at CONUS/OCONUS sites by reviewing contractor and US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) submittals and observing field execution for technical compliance.
- Site Surveys: Plan, execute, and conduct follow-up Physical Security Site Surveys for controlled facility designation and Open Storage Area (OSA) accreditation/decertification (up to Top Secret), ensuring all documentation aligns with DoD and Supported Agency guidance.
- Electronic Security Systems (ESS): Develop, coordinate, and disseminate ESS Performance Verification, Testing, and Acceptance (PVT&A) documentation, including alarm test reports and logs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree preferred
- Experience: 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program / project
- Works independently and/or leads teams to analyze and resolve problems
- Must be able to provide daily supervision and direction to support teams
- Clearance: Secret to TS with SCI eligibility
Additional desired qualifications:
- 5 years' experience coordinating policy/technical issues with outside agencies/OSD level coordination
- In-depth knowledge of DoD physical security regulations (e.g., DoD Manual 5200.01 Vol 3, DoD 5200.08-R) and facility construction standards (e.g., Unified Facilities Criteria / UFC).
- Inspection skills that include identifying requirements, assessing compliance, and proper reporting techniques
- Strong technical writing and interpersonal communication skills.
